This settlement is in place to resolve issues with the defective vinyl shingles which were manufactured by certainteed corporation between 1987 and 2005.

The alleged defects the 38 page complaint out of pennsylvania claims can lead to water intrusion and other property damage. This settlement resolves a lawsuit over whether or not organic roofing shingles manufactured by the defendant certainteed corporation from july 1 1987 through 2005 are defective and failed to perform as promised when installed on buildings located in the united states and canada.
